Gifts that give back to South African small enterprises and rural families

LekkerBek Homemade and Handmade Gifts source gourmet products from small producers and families throughout South Africa and package it to distribute as corporate gifts or just as a gift to say “Thank You” or “Well Done.”

These gifts make a difference to our local economy because they are:

100% Made in South Africa
Handmade, homemade or handcrafted locally.
It supports and sustains our local small enterprises and rural family businesses, creating jobs and generating income where there was little or none.
It gives the small producers a sales outlet beyond their local community farmers market.

The gifts are sourced from every conceivable corner of South Africa – The Great Karoo, The Swartland, The Mother City with more regions to follow. Every item is edible except for the beautiful spoons handcrafted by Xhosa ladies from the Eastern Cape. Because it is homegrown and homemade the products are mostly free of chemicals and additives, and often organic.

It is a gift that will not end up in the bottom drawer, but will be enjoyed by all, whilst ploughing back revenue into our local homegrown entrepreneurs.

LekkerBek Homemade Goodness is the brainchild of a mother and daughter team, Wirie and Andanté who are passionate about food, cooking and making a difference to other people’s lives.
